1) Overview
We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it’s used, and what choices you have.
The App:
- Shows ads using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
- Collects minimal app usage and progress analytics to help you track your habits and improve the App.
2) Information we collect
A) Information you provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide:
- Progress and habit data you enter in the App (e.g., sessions completed, streaks, goals, notes you choose to save).
B) Information collected automatically (app analytics)
We collect minimal usage analytics to understand what features are working and to show you progress metrics.
- Feature usage (e.g. reflections and session scheduled)
- Session metrics (e.g., session duration, sessions completed)
- Basic device/app info (e.g., app version)
We aim to keep analytics aggregated and not directly identifying you. We share these analytics with absolutely no one but you.
C) Advertising data (Google AdMob)
When the App displays ads, AdMob may collect information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and diagnostics. This can include:
- IP address (may be used to estimate general location)
- Device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers, IDFA, if permitted)
- Diagnostic data / crash logs related to the ads SDK
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide core features (timers, progress tracking, insights)
- Improve performance and fix bugs
- Respond to support requests
- Display ads and measure ad performance (via AdMob)
4) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information in these cases:
- Advertising partners (AdMob/Google): to show and measure ads.
- Service providers: that help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics tools, crash reporting), only as needed to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons: if required to comply with law or protect rights/safety.
5) Personalized ads and App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
If we (or AdMob) use data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising, iOS may require us to request your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings.
Your choices include:
- Allow or deny tracking permission when prompted
- Adjust iOS privacy settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking)
6) Data retention
- Progress data: Stored only on your device for as long as you keep it.
- Analytics: Kept only as long as needed for app improvement and reporting, then deleted.
- Support emails: Kept as needed to respond and maintain records of support.
7) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
8) Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9) Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict certain data.
You can remove local data by uninstalling the App.
10) International users
If you use the App outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Effective date” and, if changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the App.
